Attend the 28th Annual Victorian Christmas Open House at Heceta Head Lightstation

Heceta Head Lightstation is celebrating 28 years of Annual Victorian Christmas Open Houses on December 14th/15th and 21st/22nd from 4 to 7 pm. The Keeper’s House will be decorated with festive decorations December 6th-January 2nd. Each evening of the open houses performers will share holiday favorites and Santa will be visiting to welcome children of all ages. Cookies and warm drinks will be available.

Celebrate National Lighthouse Day at Heceta Head Lightstation

Join the Keepers of Heceta Head Lightstation on August 7th from 11am to 3pm for National Lighthouse Day. Tour the Interpretive Center in the Keepers House, enjoy live music from the Foghorns on the lawn, free cookies and sodas and see the inside the of the Lighthouse!

Explore Heceta Head Lighthouse

Located at the top of a 205 foot tall headland, the 56 foot tall Heceta Head Lighthouse shines it’s light visible for 21 miles, making it the strongest light on the Oregon Coast. Originally built in 1894, the lighthouse is now maintained by Oregon Parks and Rec Dept and the assistant lightkeepers house is operated as a Bed and Breakfast.
