Steamboat Inn: The Steamboat Inn is a unique place in the middle of the Umpqua National Forest. The Inn’s 60-year tradition of personalized hospitality and exceptional cuisine is kept alive by the Woodwards, the current owners, for whom the Inn is undeniably a labor of love. The Steamboat Inn offers a place to escape from the cookie-cutter chain hotels with disingenuous service, identical rooms, and predictable food. While the Inn caters to fishermen, one does not have to be a fisherman to appreciate the beauty of the surrounding forest, the hypnotic Umpqua river that flows beside each cabin, and meals that are creatively prepared by a kitchen staff that includes gourmet chefs.

Accommodations: 8 streamside cabins, 5 hideaway cottages, 2 river-view suites, and 3 furnished homes. Fishing, hiking, mountain biking, waterfall chasing, Crater Lake.

Activities: Discover the treasures of the area such as Crater Lake, Diamond Lake and beyond. Fishing at its most challenging, trails for hikers, and swimming are all within minutes of Steamboat Inn.

Weddings & Events: With space for up to 75, and lodging for up to 58 (with lots of nearby camping), Steamboat is a versatile location. Our specialty is intimate weddings of 30 guests or less and elopements. We also love to do rehearsal dinners and our suites are perfect wedding night/honeymoon suites for couples getting married at local waterfalls.
