Discover "Canoes Across Time"
A new exhibit by Rick Hemmings entitled "Canoes Across Time" opened on Monday, June 15th at the Stanford Inn.
Primitive watercraft can be traced back nearly 900,000 years! The humble canoe has played an integral part in populating many parts of the world. Nearly every culture on earth evolved their own unique version of the canoe, many of which still survive today. The exhibit uses photographs, maps, graphics and text to shed new light on the world’s most enduring technology, and includes photos of Catch A Canoe’s own hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind custom outrigger redwood canoes!
