For years we would speed past Pendleton, Oregon on I-84, never knowing that there was an historic downtown full of bars and restaurants or a place like the Pendleton House just a couple minutes off the highway. The Pendleton House bed and breakfast is truly the nicest B&B we've ever stayed at. GORGEOUS, historical home, the best bathroom and shower in the world, period details, delicious breakfast, hosts who go well beyond the norm to make you feel taken care of. We sat by the roaring fire Jack laid out for us listening to music, enjoyed the unexpected and very much appreciated appetizers, slept in a beautiful room, and came downstairs in the morning to another roaring fire and scrumptious breakfast. If you are driving along I-84 on your way to Portland or Boise, stop in Pendleton and stay here! You will never forget it!
