Lovely, understated elegance. This quite cozy inn takes you back to a simpler time, yet all the trappings are there and no modern distractions. The lodge overlooks the beautiful North Umpqua River with a comfortable rustic quality. The service and food is outstanding! Five star meals served by a friendly, knowledgeable staff. We stayed in a hideaway cabin which met all our needs, including bringing our dog. Unfortunately the river was closed to fishing this fall, but nonetheless this a fisherman's paradise.
